FAQs about our caregiver jobs.

  • What are some of the benefits I can receive?

Competitive hourly pay, paid orientation and ongoing training, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, referral bonuses, and a coordinator who actually knows your name. Full-time caregivers are eligible for additional benefits — we walk through them with you on day one.

  • What does the training include?

Every Hamsa caregiver completes paid orientation covering personal care techniques, dementia and Alzheimer's best practices, infection control, HIPAA, and emergency response. As your roles grow, specialty modules for live-in care, post-hospital recovery, and complex client needs are available on an ongoing basis.

  • Is the schedule flexible?

Yes. We work with you to find shifts that fit your life — mornings, evenings, weekends, full-time, part-time, or per diem. If your availability changes, just tell us and we adjust.

  • How long does it take to become a Hamsa Home Care caregiver?

For most candidates, two weeks from application to first shift — that includes the interview, background and reference checks, paid orientation, and being matched with a client. Faster if you are already certified (HHA or CNA).

  • What are my career growth opportunities at Hamsa?

Caregivers can advance into senior caregiver roles, specialty care assignments, and team-lead or scheduling positions within our coordinator team. We promote from within whenever possible — many of our office staff started as caregivers.
